The prestigious Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav organized by Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal will start in two hours from now (Wednesday, 11 December) at the Maharashtriya Mandal Krida Sankul at Mukundnagar in Pune. The festival, in it’s 67th year will be held in a huge 270 X 228 feet pandal which will cater to over 10 thousand Indian music lovers. The sitting arrangement includes Bharatiya Baithak and chairs. There are 6 large LED screens in the pandal to make it possible for every person to experience the performances with utmost clarity.Today’s performances include vocal recital by Girish Sanjhgiri and Archana Kanhere, Jayanti Kumaresh (Veena) and Hariprasad Chaurasia ( Flute).
