Sanjeev Churiwala joins Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, as the new Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1st January, 2022. Ramesh Subramanyam, the erstwhile CFO is moving into a new role within the Tata Group. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Churiwala has over 27 years of corporate experience spanning across the financial services sector including reporting and controlling of listed companies, exposure to projects, supply chain, fundraising, and M&A. He was previously with Diageo as the Regional Finance Director-APAC and Global Travel Retail. He has also worked with Holcim’s Indian listed subsidiary Ambuja Cements.
TVS Motor Company has announced the appointment of Professor Venkat Viswanathan as Technical Advisor for Electric Mobility at TVS Motor Company. Prof. Viswanathan is currently an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and is a global leader in advanced batteries for electric mobility. Prof. Viswanathan is a recipient of numerous awards, including the National Science Foundation CAREER award, Alfred P.
