Pune based vocalist Ketaki Mategaonkar will be participating in the music album – Raagopanishadh, a music album envisaged by musician Dr. Bharat Balvalli and produced by the Government of India to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. Ketaki has sung along with senior and leading singers from across the country in this album and she is the youngest vocalist in the group. Raagopanishadh is a manuscript containing ancient manuscripts preserved for centuries. Originally composed by Jain Sadhu Bhagwant and Muni in the form of 24 raagmalas, it mentions 58 different raags, about 350-400 year old paintings depicting these raags, 380 verses composed of 91 ragas dedicated to devotional worship, descriptions of 126 different ragas and pictures and descriptions of a total of 154 instruments. The album will be presented by the Government of India to all the leading music universities in the world as a memento for the promotion of Indian music.
“This is my first album in classical music and it was a great experience. It is a great pleasure to represent Indian classical music on the world stage,” Said Ketaki.”
Isha Agrawal enters Marathi films arena
After performing roles in Hindi and Tamil films, Isha Agrawal will now enter the arena of Marathi films. She acted in Hindi film Kaheen Hai Mera Pyaar with Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Kapoor and also played a role in Tamil film Thittivatsal and is now playing lead role in soon to release Marathi film Zolzaal.
Releasing on 1 July in cinema halls across Maharashtra, Zolzaal will be a multi-star attraction with Mangesh Desai, Manoj Joshi, Ajinkya Deo, Kushal Badrike, Bharat Ganeshpure, Amol Kanage, Ruturaj Phadke, Sayaji Shinde, Uday Nene, Uday Tikekar,Ankur Walve, Preetam Kanage, Alisha Farer, Supriya Karnik, Priyanka Kholgade, Saisha Pathak who have played important roles.
The film is directed by Manas Kumar Das and produced by Gopal Agawal, Anand Gupta and Sanjana Agarwal. Rashmi Agarwal and Vinay Agrawal are co-producers.
Born in Latur, Maharashtra, Isha went to Krupa Sadan Convent School, Latur and did her graduate and post graduate studies in Symbiosis College, Pune. She has also done a course in nutrition from VLCC.
Isha was the winner of Miss ICC Pune in 2014 and has won at pagents such as Miss India Executive 2015, Milestone Miss Global International, Moscow, Milestone Miss IndiaInternational, Thailand. She has won the title of Miss Beauty Top of The World in 2019.
