Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced its omni-channel retail outreach: ‘Schneider Electric (SE) Retail Pavilion’, targeted at retailers across the country. Through this concept, the company will enrol, scale, and upskill retailers and be a partner in their journey of digital transformation. The company has partnered with over 500+ retail stores as SE Retail Pavilions, for its B2C business, and aims to expand to with 2000+ SE retail pavilions spread Pan-India, by end of 2023.

Reckitt, a leading global consumer health and hygiene company has made an entry in the drain cleaning category in India with Harpic Drain Xpert. With this product, Harpic is providing a convenient and effective solution to its consumers to help keep the kitchen and bathroom drainpipes clean by preventing clogging occurrences. Skand Saksena, Global Category R&D Director, Harpic, Reckitt highlighted, “We continuously work towards understanding consumer needs and bring products that add value to their changing lifestyle. Our research indicates that consumers have a hard time dealing with clogs, especially since they disrupt other activities in the household. Moreover, drain cleaning is not a regular chore for a household until a problem occurs and many home remedies are not very effective in long term care. Harpic Drain Xpert is designed to offer consumers a superior, easy to use solution that clears the toughest of clogs in just 30 minutes without damaging pipes and removing any foul odour.”

Amazon said on Wednesday its Prime Day 2022 (23&24 Juky) in India drove strong membership growth; enabled tens of thousands of small businesses and offered Prime members with Same-Day and One-Day deliveries. The online retailer said Prime members from over 95% of India shopped across categories this Prime Day 2022 and 2 of 3 new Prime members were from Tier 2/3/4 towns. 50% more sellers received at least one order during the lead up and on Prime Day, across 11,738 pincodes. Nearly 18% more sellers’ grossed sales over INR 1 crore and close to 38% more sellers grossed sales of over Rs. 1 lakh vs last Prime Day. Minda Corporation Limited has launched 17 helmet models with 145 variants in the Indian retail market. The launch marks Spark Minda’s foray into the B2C space at a time when India is emerging as the largest and fastest growing helmet market globally. During the next few years, the company plans to add 200+ distributors and open exclusive Spark Minda branded outlets across the country, making the distribution network more robust. The Protective Head Gear will be available across three customer segments- Economy (Knight series), Mid (Garrison series) andthe Premium (Armored series) category.

Spark Minda also announced the launch of 1500 fiber parts (Plastic-molded, painted components for two-wheelers) to meet the growing demand of 2W riders across the country. This number is targeted to increase to 2400 in the next two years, representing the largest range of fiber parts available in the country.
