Awards Ceremony. Ashwini Malhotra, Managing Director Weikfield Foods Pvt Ltd was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The annual awards recognize the work of Pune based businesses in manufacturing and logistic sector. Manisha Compositek Pvt Ltd was

awarded in the micro and small enterprise category in the manufacturing sector, Intervalve Poonawalla Ltd was awarded in the medium enterprise category while Atlas Copco (India) Ltd was awarded in the large enterprise category.
In the logistics sector, Vistar Logitek Pvt received the award in the small enterprise category while Avignon Shipping Pvt. in the medium enterprise category. Sangharsh Yuva Pratishthan was conferred the award for their social work in the area of education for the poor. Trustee Dnyaneshwar Jagtap accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

City-based Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has formulated gridded emission inventory for Pune district as an initiative towards air quality management. This inventory identifies key sources of air pollution and their contributions. The CAP India project implemented by a consortium of institutions led by TERI, New Delhi is undertaken to assist stakeholders such as MPCB and PMC in effective implementation of an action plan for air quality management. The Pune project component is executed by ARAI.
The emission inventory for baseline year 2021 has been developed using scientific tools and techniques and with due consideration to quality assurance and control aspects.

Benches made of recycled Tetra Pak cartons have been installed at the office of District Collector Mumbai suburb to raise consumer awareness. The benches, made of recycled Tetra Pak cartons, have been set up in the visitor area to raise awareness about the tangible positive impact of recycling. These benches carry a strong message about the power of collective action. Nidhi Choudhary, District Collector of Mumbai Suburban, said, “At Mumbai suburban, we are committed to protecting the planet, and I strongly believe that recycling can be a powerful tool in this mission. We are pleased to have these benches made of recycled Tetra Pak cartons on our premises, and hope that it will inspire citizens to, firstly, choose environmentally friendly recyclable products, and then segregate their waste to support recycling.” Tetra Pak has been running a consumer awareness program called Go Green with Tetra Pak campaign in Mumbai since 2010. Under this programme, 54 Reliance Retail stores act as drop off points for used cartons, allowing consumers to recycle cartons easily, further supported by over 150 other locations like RWAs, schools, churches and more. Over the years, the programme has helped collect and recycle over 9.5 million cartons, donating nearly 400 desks and over one lakh other recycled products to less privileged schools. In addition, over 300 garden benches have been gifted to various housing societies, parks and other public places across Mumbai.
