A new advanced 3D printing technology is recently launched by the Auto Cluster at Pimpri-Chinchwad for the benefit of for the benefit of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. The cluster has also come up with a Design Centre to provide modern kind of design services as well as training.
In a programme organized at Auto Cluster, the 3D printing technology (SLA – 3D SYSTEM PROJET 7000 HD, FDM – STRATASYS FDM  450MC) . was unveiled at the hands of Pravin Tupe, Board Member, Auto Cluster and Jt. City Engineer, Pimpri- Chinchwad Corporation. In the same function, the design centre was inaugurated at the hands of  Prashant Girbane, Director General, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA). Kiran Vaidya, Managing Director, Auto Cluster was present among the dignitaries.
The newly launched 3D printing facility will help the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises for prototyping and will reduce the lead time and cost. Mr. Pravin Tupe appeal to the MSME’s to utilise the various prototype development and testing facility at Auto Cluster. Mr. Kiran Vaidya -Managing Director Auto Cluster emphasized that MSMEs should absorb modern technology and advance machines in their operations which can open new growth avenues for them.
