Ford extends helping hand in India’s Fight Against COVID-19   

Automobile manufacturer Ford has announced a series of initiatives to minimize the inconvenience its customers could face, including: Price Protection: Customers who have booked or plan to book a new Ford car until April 30 will get complete price protection at the time of delivery. Warranty Extension: On all Ford cars where warranty – factory or extended – expires between March 15 and May 30, 2020, Ford will provide a free-of-cost extension till June 30, 2020. Customers planning to purchase extended warranty products can do so until June 30. Service Benefits: Ford is offering a three-month extension in availing all scheduled service benefits, including free service, to June 30, 2020, without impacting either factory-warranty or extended warranty. Customer Care: Ford’s Customer Care experts have been available round the clock to attend to customer queries via email customail@ford.com, through @FordIndiaHelp on Twitter or via SMS number 56263.  24×7 Roadside Assistance: With vehicle requirement being critical to attend to emergencies, Ford has been providing 24X7 Roadside Assistance, absolutely free of cost. ICICI direct launches WhatsApp chatbot

ICICI direct, India’s leading retail-led equity franchise, today stepped-up its digital delivery of services by launching WhatsApp chatbot. Customers can now enjoy a host of services through this new delivery platform without either calling up the call centre or their Relationship Managers or logging into icicidirect.com.  Customers can initiate the conversation by simply saying “Hi” or “Main menu” to WhatsApp no 98 333 30151. This will then lead them into further options, which they can choose from. In the first phase, services  made available include Live Stock prices, Display their Holdings, Place Transactions, Information about Products and Services and New Offerings.

Swiggy enables ‘Grocery’ deliveries in over 125 cities

On-demand food delivery platform Swiggy has expanded its delivery of groceries and household essential services to over 125 cities bringing added convenience to consumers. The service is being fulfilled through neighbourhood stores and distribution centres of large brands. Available on the Swiggy app under the Grocery tab, Swiggy is enabling on-demand procurement and delivery of essentials to the customers’ doorstep. Through the ‘Grocery’ category, consumers can directly view available stores in their locality, add items to their cart for payment and opt for ‘No-contact’ delivery on prepaid orders. Swiggy has partnered with several national brands and retailers such as HUL, P&G, Godrej, Dabur, Marico, Vishal Mega Mart, Adani Wilmers, Cipla and many other city specific stores to supply branded essential products and food items.  All deliveries will be done by Swiggy’s dedicated fleet of delivery partners who are engaged on a principal to principal basis.
