Genzeon opens office in Pune to accelerate growth in healthcare and retail technology services

Genzeon, provider of intelligent automation, security, compliance, cloud, and managed services for healthcare and retail markets, announced the opening of its second office in India, located in Pune. This strategic expansion aims to harness Pune’s rich technology talent pool, which is supported by world-class universities and technical schools, to accelerate the development of innovative solutions in AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation, Harsh Singh, General Manager – Healthcare, Genzeon, told mediapersons on the occasion.
Singh said 80 percent of the company’s business comes from healthcare sector with clients coming largely from United States. The company has also made some forays in the Europe region as well, he added. The other 20 per cent of business comes from retail sector and this segment is growing, he said.
Singh said the company is working closely with Pune’s engineering education institution to empower academic staff to impart to students skills and knowledge in the areas in which the company is engaged.
Over the next 6 to 12 months, Genzeon expects to grow its Pune team to more than 100 associates, focusing on roles such as product engineering, product management, project management, AI, data engineering, and data science. The company also plans to hire AWS and Azure Cloud Architects and other engineering talent in the future.
The company has on boarded 30 professionals and intends to hire 30 more soon, Mr Singh said, adding that the number will rise to 150 by the end of year 2023. The company’s India headcount – including the Hyderabad office which was where the business started – will be 500 he said.
