SpiceJet launches 46 new domestic flights
SpiceJet has announced the launch of 46 new non-stop flights on its domestic network. The new flights will start in phases starting 27 October 2019. Rajkot will be the 54 th destination on SpiceJet’s domestic network with the introduction of a daily non-stop flight on the Mumbai-Rajkot route. The airline will also launch services on the Chennai-Durgapur UDAN route. Flights on both these sectors will start from 27th October 2019.
In line with SpiceJet’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity, the airline will be the first and only carrier in the country to launch non-stop flight services on the Pune-Jodhpur and Chennai- Durgapur routes. Besides, SpiceJet has also introduced new flights on the Mumbai-Jodhpur, Bengaluru-Guwahati, Chennai-Vishakhapatnam, Chennai-Jaipur, Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam and Hyderabad-Aurangabad sectors. The airline will also operate flights on the Chennai – Patna, Ahmedabad–Jodhpur and Surat-Udaipur sectors. All the new flights introduced will be operational daily, except the flight on Pune-Jodhpur sector which will operate on all days except Saturday, Delhi-Ahmedabad (except Sunday), Bengaluru-Guwahati (except Tuesday), Bengaluru-Varanasi (except Tuesday), Bengaluru-Shirdi (except Tuesday), Chennai-Vishakhapatnam (except Tuesday), Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam (except Tuesday), Ahmedabad-Jodhpur (except Sunday) and Chennai-Bengaluru (except Tuesday). Out of the two new frequencies introduced on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru sector, one will operate daily and the second one will operate on all days except Tuesday.
British Council Library in Pune organizes free workshop on ‘Mindfulness at Work’
The British Council Library in Pune is organizing a workshop on ‘Mindfulness’, a much-needed practice in today’s fast-paced work environment. Suitable for working professionals, college students, homemakers and job seekers – the workshop is open for all members above the age of 18. The workshop will be conducted by psychologists Anubha Doshi and Ghazala Ansari. It will focus on achieving the benefits of mindfulness through easy techniques, such as breathing techniques, therapeutic movement, group reflection and so on. By the end of workshop, attendees will be able to use mindfulness as a tool to achieve greater focus, resilience and improved relations at work, as well as at home. CREDAI conclave in Pune from 26 September
Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) will hold a two-day national conclave in Pune beginning 26 September to addresses challenges and prospects in Indian Real Estate. The theme of the conclave is focused on a pledge for a sustainable India, holding firm on four core areas: Skilling, city greening, water conservation and membership expansion for 2019 – 2021. The conclave will also aim to understand the current challenges being faced by the real estate sector, in an organised format. CREDAI National has extended the invitation for the conclave to member Presidents and Secretaries across the country. Satish Magar, President CREDAI National, said, “With the current economic slowdown, it is pivotal that the real estate sector comes together to understand and address the challenges being faced by the industry. The conclave will also focus on core areas and setting of certain norms and processes on how to successfully achieve them. With CREDAI turning 20 next year, we aim to work towards the growth of our industry and sustainable India.” The conclave will see representations from 203 cities and 21 states.
