Multi-mode express logistics company Spoton Logistics has announced the opening of its expanded modern logistics hub in Chakan, near Pune –Nasik highway – with total area of 120,000 sq feet and 38 route vehicles.
Designed to play a major role in Spoton’s operations in the region, the brand new hub, equipped with 23 bays, automated Dock Levelers, Forklifts and other modern material handling equipment, offers storage capacity in excess of 650 tones and cross-docking facilities for simultaneous loading and unloading operations.
With Pune fast becoming the preferred location for Automobile, Engineering & Industrial, IT, Electrical & Electronics, Pharma & FMCG industries, a number of Automobile, Engineering, Electrical majors have shifted operations to this region, particularly in the Chakan and Talegoan belt. To support their growing needs, several Logistics parks are also coming up in the vicinity.

In FY 2018-19, Spoton Logistics achieved above industry average growth, in excess of 32%, closing the year with overall revenue of 650 crore. The company recently launched “Air Express” cargo services, significantly reducing Turn Around Time(TAT) for multi-mode, timed deliveries to over 25000 pin codes across India. The company caters to wide cross-section of industry verticals notably Pharma, E-Commerce, Electronics, IT, Industrial & Manufacturing, Apparel & Lifestyle. Sometime later this fiscal, Spoton plans to enter the lucrative 3PL market.
