Plan Over Two Years Across Its Manufacturing Locations

Jaya Hind Industries Pvt. Ltd. (JHI), a fully vertically integrated company and a leading global supplier of precision aluminium die-cast components, has announced a phased investment of ₹600 crore over the next two years to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and capacity across High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) and Gravity Die Casting (GDC).
The company had earlier announced Rs 200 crore expansion plan for its Chennai facility. It has now decided to undertake an additional investment of ₹400 crore, taking the total planned investment to ₹600 crore.
The additional investment will be deployed in a phased manner over two years from FY2026–27 to FY2027–28 across its key manufacturing locations, including Akurdi & Urse in Pune, and Chennai. The expansion includes the establishment of a new
state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai, installation of more than 12 new High Pressure Die Casting machines ranging from 1,200 tonnes to 3,500 tonnes, significant enhancement of precision machining capabilities, expansion of critical in-house processes such as heat treatment, impregnation and powder coating, as well as strengthening overall plant infrastructure.
The addition of a dedicated powder coating facility will further enhance JHI’s ability to deliver fully integrated, value-added manufacturing solutions by providing high-quality surface finishing, improved corrosion resistance, superior product durability,
and greater process control under one roof.
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Jaya Hind Industries, said, ” At Jaya Hind Industries, we have always believed in investing ahead of customer requirements. As the demand for larger and more complex aluminium castings continues to grow, we are strengthening our
manufacturing capabilities to deliver greater scale, precision and reliability.
