Yoga Day celebrated in Pune, elsewhere

On the occasion of International Yoga Day on Friday 21 June, Bank of Maharashtra conducted Yoga demonstrations at Bank’s Head Office, Pune. Shri A C Rout, Executive Director, Bank of Maharashtra said, “Yoga is boon and blessings to mankind.”

Mr Vinay Sanea certified Yoga Teacher by Patanjali, and retired Senior Manager of Bank of Maharashtra demonstrated Asan, Pranayam & Dhyan to staff and explained its importance.

Royal Connaught Boat Club

City’s The Royal Connaught Boat Club today organized a special yoga workshop to mark the International Yoga Day . Members turned out in large numbers to attend the workshop conducted by Yoga Guru Ravindra Khare .

Balakrishna Hegde , President Royal Connaught Boat Club,Hon. Secretary  Arun Kudale were present on the occasion. The workshop included guidance on the importance of Yoga in our life and demonstration of various Asanas. Balakrishna Hegde gave the welcome address while Arun Kudale introduced the Chief Guest and  read out a letter received from Ministry of Ayush . Reiterating the commitment to Yoga both said that we will continue to create awareness about Yoga through various workshops and activities.

Global Indian International School

Global Indian International School promoted the importance of Yoga and meditation to reduce growing stress amongst students. The school initiated and organized Yoga camps across its 7 campuses in India – Noida, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru and Surat. These camps were open for students, teachers and parents in the city to promote the health benefits of Yoga and its significance to achieve balance of body and mind. More than 4500 people participated in this initiative.

“Yoga Se Hi Hoga” say Nicktoons Motu Patlu, Shiva, Rudra on World  Yoga Day

While Motu Patlu are busy practicing “Happy -Asanas”, Nicktoons Shiva and Rudra were seen indulging in some Morning Yoga at Marine Drive in Mumbai’s biggest yoga event – Yoga by the Bay.

While the event in Ranchi saw 1000s of people along with key dignitaries practice Yoga, the Mumbai saw many other renowned celebrities from fitness industry like – Mickey Mehta. Spread the message of a healthy lifestyle along with our super cool and inspiring Nicktoons– super kid Shiva and magictoon Rudra.
