Oben Electric showcases Rorr Evo in Pune; targets 25 showrooms in Maharashtraby FY27

Pune is projected to account for nearly 25% of overall Rorr Evo sales in Maharashtra as Oben Electric expands its retail footprint in the state
– Expansion follows robust demand for the newly launched Oben Rorr Evo, which crossed 25,000 bookings within 15 days of launch
– Rorr Evo deliveries to commence from June 2026, while customers can continue availing the introductory ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) pricing through the live online payment portal

Oben Electric on Tuesday hosted the Maharashtra regional showcase of the newly launched Oben Rorr Evo at its Shivajinagar showroom in Pune, reinforcing the city’s importance as one of the company’s strongest-performing markets nationally.
The company currently operates 11 showrooms across Maharashtra, including four in Pune along with outlets in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Latur, Nagpur, Barshi, Solapur, and Ahmadpur.
The company plans to add 14 additional showrooms across Maharashtra by the end of FY27, driven by rising demand for high-performance electric motorcycles and accelerating EV adoption in the region. Pune is projected to contribute nearly 25% of overall Rorr Evo sales in Maharashtra, supported by growing consumer interest in premium electric mobility solutions.
Deliveries of Rorr Evo are scheduled to commence from June 2026, while customers can continue to avail the introductory ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) pricing through the live online payment portal.
Priced at an introductory ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers and ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) thereafter, the newly launched Rorr Evo delivers a premium performance package that stands ahead of its segment. The motorcycle is powered by Oben Electric’s proprietary IPMSM motor producing 9 kW peak power. The motor is heavy, rare-earth-free, IP68 certified, and 40% more compact than the previous generation while delivering 20% higher power and 250 Nm of wheel torque.

The Rorr Evo comes equipped with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery offering an IDC-certified range of 180 km, acceleration from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds, and a top speed of 110 km/h. The motorcycle supports fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes and is backed by an 8-year battery warranty.

Harshwardhan Deshmukh, Director of Sales at Oben Electric said the company has invested Rs 300 crore in its Bangaluru facility where it manufacturers motors as well as batteries using its proprietory technology.The factory has a capacity to make 100,000 vehicles pe r year. The company is looking at the number one OEM in the electic motorcycle segment in the near future, Deshmukh said.
That will entain increase in the company’s manufacturing capacity for which a round of funding is expected very soon, Deshmukh added.
