Fashion and lifestyle retail major Shoppers Stop on Sunday hosted a special fashion showcase at Pavillion Mall, Pune. The showcase celebrated the season through a curated collection of festive fashion, bringing together contemporary styles and traditional influences for the many occasions that make Diwali special.
Inspired by the many moods of Diwali, the collection featured four distinct fashion stories, each reflecting a different moment of the festive season. The Diwali Homecoming opened the showcase with casual western wear, capturing the excitement of travelling home for the celebrations. The Diwali Game Night Look brought partywear and contemporary western styles to the runway, reflecting the fun and glamour of festive evenings spent with friends and family. The Family Get-together Look introduced fusion and Indo-western dressing, blending contemporary silhouettes with festive influences, while the Festive Celebration Edit celebrated the timeless appeal of Indian ethnic wear through styles suited to grand festive occasions.
Jiten Mahendra, Customer Care Associate & CMO, Shoppers Stop, said, “Diwali represents celebration, togetherness and new beginnings, and gifting is one of the most meaningful ways we express that sentiment. Through ‘Gifts of Love’, we wanted to bring together fashion, beauty, fragrances, watches and lifestyle offerings, alongside festive styles for every celebration. Our curation also makes it easier for customers to find thoughtful gifts for family and friends. Having Saiee Manjrekar unveil the collection in Pune added a wonderful sense of energy to the celebration. At Shoppers Stop, our endeavour is to make Diwali shopping more elevated, personalised and memorable.”
