Pre-milled or processed grain products are devoid of the same amount of nutrients as freshly milled flour. Most nutrients are manually stripped from the grain, whilst others are lost due to the milling process, time and exposure. This isn’t the case with freshly milled, which contains all parts of the seed – the nutrients and fiber of the bran and germ, plus the protein and vitamins.
