Heritage Xperiential Schools has announced the launch of Heritage International Xperiential School (HIXS), Pune — its first campus in the city. Located in Kalyani Nagar, the school marks the next chapter in Heritage’s 22-year journey of redefining education through experiential learning.
HIXS Pune, the latest addition to the prestigious Heritage Xperiential School’s network, aims to bring a globally recognised learning experience to students rooted in Indian values. Staying true to Heritage’s ethos, the Pune campus is designed to provide student-centric, authentic learning that humanises and empowers the next generation to take responsibility for a world where individuals and communities can thrive while being rooted in purpose.
The launch was marked by the Early Years Summit 2025, hosted at the newly inaugurated campus, which brought together leading educators, policymakers, school leaders, and early years experts from India and abroad. The two-day summit featured keynote addresses by internationally-recognised Early Childhood Education Specialist Jan Dubiel and Reggio-inspired Atelierista Sarah Browne, and engaging discussions on innovative early years pedagogy, child development frameworks, assessment methodologies, and the role of intentional learning environments.
Edward Lawless, Head of School, Heritage International Xperiential School, Pune, said: “At Heritage, education has always been about meaning, purpose, and human connection. With the launch of our Pune campus, we’re extending our legacy of over 20-years of authentic, experiential learning to a new community of learners. HIXS Pune will embody the same spirit of curiosity, compassion, and excellence that defines our schools, nurturing children who are confident, creative, and conscious global citizens.”
