Dassault Systèmes Foundation announced the winners for the eighth edition of AAKRUTI an annual nationwide design competition. Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nanded emerged as the winner. The first runner-up is Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune and the second runner-up position is bagged by National Institute of Technology, Raipur. As part of the competition the winners received cash prizes up to Rs 2 Lakh.
AAKRUTI provides students a platform to shape their imagination and bring their innovative designs to life using an array of product design applications of their choice. With the objective of channelizing students’ creativity for transforming rural ecosystems, AAKRUTI encourages students to showcase their design skills, creativity, and innate talent. This year, AAKRUTI witnessed participation from more than 1100 + teams from 200+ colleges across 24 Indian states.
AAKRUTI is well amalgamated with Dassault Systèmes Foundation’s vision to promote the advancement of excellence and skill enhancement in all aspects of engineering, technology, and design while fostering innovation. AAKRUTI encourages students to use this contest as a platform for creative design, exposing students to detailing for manufacturing which then can be made available to the larger population for the benefit of the nation.

· Agriculture tools and devices
· Reduce-reuse-recycle-purify
· Solar/wind energy based useful equipments
