Amazon Announces Great Indian Festival

Amazon.in has announced its biggest festive celebration ‘Great Indian Festival.’ The festival will start from midnight on September 29 until 11:59 pm on October 04. Prime members will get exclusive early access starting 12 noon on September 28. Pune to host National Conference of ISHRAE -ACRE SERVE  2019

In an effort to enhance competencies of service professionals, The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Pune Chapter will host a national conference ACRE SERVE 2019-2020 on 21 September at Institute of Engineers , Shivajinagar. The conference will be useful for service engineers, technicians , retrofit professionals , dealers , distributers, customer care unit- individuals, HVAC&R contractors , technical staff amongst others.
ISHRAE Pune Chapter President Nandkishor Matode  said the topics of deliberation would include safety during operation and maintenance at site, trouble shooting for Inverter/VRF,  service issues and basics of chillers , importance of communication skills for service professionals etc.  The program is designed to help participate keep abreast with the latest developments and trends in the service sector, he said.
Amanora launches initiative to make the township plastic-free
Integrated township Amanora Park Town has launched an initiative- ‘Plastic Waste Free Amanora’ to restrain the use of plastic among its residents on Saturday, 14 September 2019. The township, in collaboration with Chitale Group and Recykal, launched an app- Reloop to create awareness among its 5500 resident families and persuade them to participate in the plastic recycling programme. With the help of the App, the citizens will be able to return all plastic items including milk pouches, bottles, wrappers, packets or bags to the collection points identified by the App around the township. The residents accordingly will receive 20 points per kilo of plastic they contribute, which they will be able to buy back with over 200 different brands which ‘Reloop’ has tied up with.

APEX names Vistara  ‘Five Star Airline’

Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint-venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has been rated a ‘Five Star Airline’ by passengers in the 2020 Official Airline Ratings by APEX (the Airline Passenger Experience Association). The award was presented at the Annual APEX Expo in Los Angeles, United States. Vistara, which won this award in the category of Major Airlines, is the only Indian airline to have won the honour among leading airlines from around the world. This recognition is based on more than one million flights for the Official Airline Rating, rated by passengers across nearly 600 airlines worldwide between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019.
