The Kohinoor Technical Institute has organized Job Junction , a mega job fair on 9th August, 2019 from 9am to 5pm at Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI), Z Bridge, Jangli Maharaj Road, Deccan, Pune. The initiative has been organized to mark World Youth Skill Day to provide a wide range of job opportunities to young people of age 18 to 35 from Pune and suburbs . Those who have completed 10th and 12th standards, ITI and vocational courses degree are expected to participate . There will also be hundreds of job opportunities in companies from 25 different sectors and will be available to students from the government or semi-government organization.
For the past 57 years, Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI) has been promoting technical education in the State. Makrand Vagaskar, Chief Executive Officer, KTI informed after completing vocational training or a diploma students are always anxious about getting jobs. KTI has always taken the initiative to train students with skills required to start a career. KTI has also launched this initiative in Mumbai as well, to create a career opportunities for students who have already completed vocational training. A separate section of each company has been set up to interview the students at this job fair and hundreds of students from Pune and suburbs will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.
