Dollar Indusries: In a bid to help needy and the poor families, Dollar Industries Limited stepped into the shoes of humanity and contributed a huge portion in kind which included 6,000kgs of rice, 40,000 packets of biscuits, 40,000 masks and 10,000 soap bars. These mentioned products are very much essential for a basic survival/ living. This huge distribution was done in West Bengal under the proper guidance of Kolkata Police (Central and North) and social workers, who made sure that these items were distributed in more than 60 wards across Kolkata. The distribution process was carried out maintaining the protocols of social distancing.

Samsung Extends Warranty on Consumer Electronics, Mobile Products: Samsung has extended standard warranty across its product portfolio till 31 May 2020. This will be valid for all products whose warranty would have expired in this lockdown period (between March 20 and April 30, 2020). Additionally, Samsung is extending the redemption period of offers for pre-booked customers of Galaxy S20. Customers who pre-booked the Galaxy S20 can now collect and activate their smartphone till April 30, 2020 (previously March 31, 2020). Pre-booked consumers, who purchased their S20 devices on or before March 31, will be able to redeem the Galaxy Buds+ offer by May 15, 2020.
Mercedes-Benz India in association with the local authorities has set up a temporary hospital having medical facilities with isolation wards for the COVID-19 patients in the region. The facility is set up in the Mhalunge-Ingale village, Chakan Khed, close to Pune and PCMC area, with 374 rooms and will be able to hold approximately 1500 patients of COVID-19. After easing of the COVID-19 condition, the medical equipment will be donated to the Civil Hospital of Khed, and the assets from isolation wards will be donated to the tribal youth hostels. Mercedes-Benz India to also provide logistics support for setting up the isolation wards. The company has also supported the Grant Medial Foundation (Ruby Hall Clinic) directly by donating Ventilators
