The Tata Group felicitated the city-level winners of Marathi, English and Urdu editions of the Tata Building India School Essay Competition 2017-18 at Maharashtra Education Society Auditorium in Pune, on 28th November.
The theme for the 12th edition of the essay competition was “India @70 is full of opportunities and challenges; what are these, and how can you contribute to a New India during next 10 years?”. 210 English medium schools from 6 cities of Maharashtra and Goa participated in the English edition, while 625 schools from 19 cities from Maharashtra participated in the Marathi edition and 50 schools from 4 cities from Maharashtra participated in the Urdu edition of the essay competition.
Winners were awarded trophies medals, gifts and certificates at the ceremony held in the presence of Dr. Jadhavar Sudhakar Udhavarao, Ex. Dean, Faculty of Commerce, University of Pune.
